The Cactus Rose Ranch is located
 in the scenic high-desert town of Yucca Valley, in sunny
 Southern California. We are approximately 140 miles east of
 Los Angeles and 25 miles north of Palm Springs & towering
Mt. San Jacinto. Our valley's southern border is adjacent to the renowned
 Joshua Tree National Park, and the famous California Riding & Hiking Trail.
Our 3200 ft. elevation makes for a more moderate climate during the summer months,
compared with the hot, lower desert regions of Southern California.
 However, we can get snow a couple times a year too!

 

 

 

The goal of Cactus Rose Ranch is to breed the finest Paint Horses possible,
 starting with our stallion, Gotta Wear Shades. and continuing on with his
Grandson CR Gunner in Gold.
We believe in a horse who can halter, and then perform, all in the same day!
 We breed for conformation, athleticism & beauty all rolled into one horse and believe our CRR  bred horses to be outstanding individuals!
